Doori Account Deletion

This page explains how users of the Doori bus tracking app can request account deletion and what happens to their associated data.

1. Delete a Passenger/User Account From the App

If you are a passenger/user, you can request account deletion directly inside the Doori mobile app:

  1. Open the Doori app.
  2. Log in to your passenger/user account.
  3. Go to Profile.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.

After confirmation, your account is scheduled for deletion. Your active route subscriptions are removed immediately, and your account is blocked from further use.

2. Request Deletion by Email or WhatsApp

If you cannot access your account, you can request account deletion by sending an email from the same email address that is connected to your Doori account:

3. Driver Accounts

Driver accounts are managed by the organization admin because they are connected to buses, routes, and active assignments. Drivers who want their account deleted should contact their organization admin or contact Doori support using the details above.

4. Organization Admin and Organization Accounts

Organization admins can request deletion of their organization account by contacting Doori support. Because organization accounts may include buses, drivers, routes, passengers, and operational records, we may verify the request before scheduling deletion.

5. Data Deleted

When an account is permanently deleted, we delete personal data associated with that account, including:

For organization deletion requests, we also delete organization-related records such as buses, routes, driver assignments, and passenger relationships when the deletion becomes permanent.

6. Data That May Be Kept

Some limited data may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting, or service integrity purposes. This may include:

7. Retention and Recovery Window

If you believe deletion was requested by mistake, contact us before the recovery window ends. After permanent deletion, deleted account data cannot be restored.
